Bryan Fraser began as head coach of the College of the Rockies Women’s Volleyball program in August 2019. The 2025–26 season marks his seventh year with the Avalanche.
Before joining the Avalanche, Bryan played professionally for four years in Germany, Holland, and France, and spent three years with the Canadian National Senior Men’s Team. He also played five years of post-secondary volleyball with the University of Saskatchewan Huskies, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
In April 2023, Bryan completed a Masters of Education in Coaching Studies degree from the University of Victoria. He also finished the NCCP Performance Coach Workshop in spring 2024, working toward full Level 3 (Performance Coach) certification.
Bryan is deeply involved in the local volleyball community. He runs development clinics and summer camps through COTR Athletics, leads the Volleyball Canada Regional Excellence Program in the fall, and serves as Technical Director for the East Kootenay Volleyball Club.
Passionate about the sport, Bryan is driven to lead the COTR Women’s Volleyball program to new heights.
