Bryan Fraser was hired as head coach of College of the Rockies Women’s volleyball program at the beginning of the 2019-2020 season.

Since taking over the head coaching role the Avalanche women’s regular season record stands at 22 wins and 37 losses (2019-2023).

Before joining the Avalanche, Bryan was a professional volleyball player and Canadian National team member. He played 4 years professionally in various European professional leagues and spent 3 years with the Canadian National Senior Men’s team. Prior to his professional playing career, he played 5 years of post-secondary volleyball in Saskatoon, SK with the University of Saskatchewan Huskie Men’s volleyball team. During his time at the U of S he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, and in April 2023 he completed his Masters of Education in Coaching Studies degree through the University of Victoria.

Bryan is extremely passionate about the game of volleyball and is excited to lead the COTR WVB program to the highest levels.
