Becket was co-captain in her second year at Camosun.

Beckett is looking to take the Elementary Education program and is very excited to join the College of the Rockies family. Beckett mentioned "she chose College of the Rockies as it offers her program through UVIC but with much smaller class sizes and it's an opportunity for me to get back into the sport I love to play"

John Swanson mentioned "Megan Beckett will be a tremendous addition to our present roster. As a coach who had to game plan against her during Pacwest league matches it will be a nice change to have her now on our side of the net.  Knowing the quality of person and player Megan is will not only improve the team's ability to compete on the court but her presence will also compliment the expectations of the team off the court".
