College of the Rockies sign hard-working middle blocker

College of the Rockies men's Avalanche have signed Sèbastien Delorme, a 6 ft. 5 in. middle from Ottawa, Ontario for the 2021/22 season.

Delorme, who plays for the Ottawa Fusion club team was a member of the Ontario 16u High performance team. He will be graduating from Ecole Secondaire Catholique Pierre Savard in June 2021 and intends to enrol in the Welding program at the College.

"I chose to study at College of the Rockies to learn in a beautiful environment full of exciting new possibilities and unknowns," Delorme said.

"I think Sèbastien is a great fit for us at the College," said men's coach Cisco Farrero. "He brings a high knowledge of the game and good athleticism for the middle position. What really stands out is his energy and passion for the game. He is one of the hardest working middle blocker recruits I have ever seen. I'm happy that our Trades program appealed to his hands-on learning goals because I think he will be a great addition to our program."

All PACWEST intercollegiate competition has been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. College of the Rockies' Avalanche players continue to train in anticipation of the return of competitive action.
