Avalanche men sign fifth recruit for 2019 season

College of the Rockies men's Avalanche have signed Carter Brodner, a 6 ft. 9 in. middle blocker/outside hitter from Regina, Saskatchewan for the 2019/20 season.

Brodner, a graduate from Campbell Collegiate high school, is currently a member of the Brandon University Bobcats.

"Carter is an athlete that brings a ton of upside to our program," said Avalanche coach, Cisco Farrero. "He is already a very good blocker and he can help out at a couple of different positions. He's a more mature student and I'm excited to watch his growth in our program."

While at the College, Carter will be enrolling in the Business Administration program.

The 2018 – 2019 men's Avalanche team has clinched a playoff spot for the 2019 PACWEST Provincial Championships which will be held at College of the Rockies February 21 to 23.
