College of the Rockies Avalanche sign Penticton Middle

College of the Rockies men's Avalanche have signed Nathan McLennan, a 6 ft. 5 in. middle/outside hitter from Penticton, BC. He is the fourth member of the 2019 recruiting class for the men's volleyball team.

McLennan is currently a student at Princess Margaret Secondary School and plays for the Volleytech Volleyball Club.

"I'm excited to add Nathan to our program for a number of reasons," said coach Cisco Farrero.  "I really wanted to add height and wingspan to our roster for the upcoming season and Nate fits that criteria. He jumps and moves well for his height and is extremely hard-working on the court. Nathan may not be a household name in B.C. recruiting, but I am very excited to watch him develop over his time at College of the Rockies."

While at the College, Nathan will be enrolling in the Kinesiology diploma program.

The 2018 – 2019 men's Avalanche team has clinched a playoff spot for the 2019 PACWEST Provincial Championships which will be held at College of the Rockies February 21 to 23.
