Alex Cassels from East St. Paul, Manitoba has committed to the Avalanche for the 2015-16 season. Alex played for the Selkirk Royals High School team in Grade 10 through 12 and his team went to the final 4 in all 3 years. Alex was also an active club player and completed 5 years of club volleyball with the Winman, Selkirk Royals and 204 club volleyball. Most recently Alex played 2 years with the University of Regina.
Alex will be taking the Tourism Recreation Management program at College of the Rockies and is looking forward to competing for the Avalanche and pushing his teammates to be the best they can be.
